Crescent Roll Taco Bake
If you want a tasty twist on a traditional taco, these Taco Crescent Rolls are just what you need. They only have 5 ingredients and will quickly become a family favorite.
You know by now we are ALL about new takes on classic recipes, and we are so excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Evite and Old El Paso to bring you a new twist on the traditional taco.
These amazing Taco Crescent Rolls are quickly becoming one of our favorites. They are so kid-friendly (they fit perfectly in my two-year-old’s hand!) and make a great dish for the upcoming Cinco De Mayo festivities!
Oh, and did I mention they only have 5 ingredients? Yeah – these taco crescent rolls just keep getting better and better.
How to make Taco Crescent Rolls:
With a short ingredient list and just a few steps, these Taco Crescent Rolls come together quickly for a great family dinner.
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees.
Next, cook the beef in a frying pan until cooked through. Drain excess grease and add taco seasoning and cheese. Mix well.
Pull apart crescent roll dough and lay out triangles on an ungreased baking sheet. Spoon about 3 Tablespoons of the meat mixture onto each triangle and roll into a crescent.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with more cheese and salsa, of course!
You will need:
2 crescent roll tubes
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce
1 or 2 diced tomatoes depending on size
1/2 small can sliced olives if desired
sour cream optional
sliced avacado optional
How to make it :
lay out the two tubes of crescent pastry, thick sides in.
use some of the left over crescent rolls to to make the center a bit thicker.
brown beef and add taco seasoning.
lay beef in a circle inside of the laid out crescent rolls
add cheese to the top
pull over crescent rolls and tuck in under meat and cheese.
add cheese, lettuce, tomato, black olives, sour cream or whatever you desire for your tacos, in the middle.
follow cook time on the pack of crescent rolls, and once it’s done, you’re good to go!
